INSTRUCTIONS!:[link]

Upgrades (no instructions) : [link]

I spent all Sunday making this, 9am to 9pm, and it sure was worth it.

Anyhoo, from time to time I glance at my tote of legos, and think to myself that since all together they are worth a three digit number, I really should do something with them from time to time. The thing is that I have a weakness for legos, and from time to time I cannot resist buying some of the really awesome sets, but after I build them they tend to sit around and gather dust. So on Sunday I decided to take a crack at something that had passed through my mind before, and that was the thought that BIONICLEs were destined to be turned in to Metal Sonic, and so I did. the only part that doesn't really look right to me is the eyes, but not everything can be perfect.

If anyone reading this wants to know how he is built say so and I will post some instructions.

Also I did my best to put this in the right category, but it is hard to classify Legos.

Still searching for the answers for the right to understand (DragonForce)
That's quite epic, even got teh colors right. Colors are my weakness because i'm too lazy to look for the right color XD

I love legos myself. I like combining normal ones with the throwbot/Bionicle sets. I once made a mech that a normal lego dude could pilot.
It just takes practice and a great deal of effort, I am by no means a master builder and have seen many models done that put my efforts to shame. The model is relatively simple, but it took me roughly nine hours and most of it was spent just staring trying to figure out what to do next.

I have often thought that a combination of normal and technic/bionicle pieces would be truly epic, I am glad to hear that someone has taken the effort to do it :). And as for the colors, I have had to wait a while for the right sets to come out.

Taken time to do it? Actually, i built the thing when i was bored on the computer. AOL's Dial Up gave me lots of time to do creative things with legos.
You win! I knew I shouldn't have thrown away my BIONICLE set then I would of asked you the steps
